BRUNO MUNARI: DESIGN IS ART
EXHIBITION DESIGN / IDENTITY DESIGN / MOTION DESIGN / GRAPHIC DESIGN“Bruno Munari: Design is Art” is a speculative exhibition on the pedagogical and sensorial work of Bruno Munari. A playfully sophisticated design system was created to identify the show, touching a variety of forms such as posters, animations, pamphlets, and stickers. With a muted color palette and Atlas Typewriter as the central typeface, silhouettes of Munari’s work operate on a 33 degree grid, inspired by Munari’s own research on pattern making. A minimal typographic layout is overlayed on top of these shapes and grids.
